In 2020, I applied and was selected to serve a Civic Fellowship with Citizen University. I completed my training in February 2021. Now, I lead civic gatherings that provide a place to reflect, talk, listen, and be inspired. Civic Saturdays are a national initiative; groups large and small are gathering across the nation as neighbors, friends, and strangers. We reflect upon the very idea of what it means to be an American, living in a nation that is bound together only by a shared creed. To live like powerful, responsible members of the community.
I partner with King County Library System, Third Place Commons, and other local venues. I often collaborate with fellow Civic Fellows in the greater Seattle area.
